  • Shape: Square
  • Subject: Lowcountry Landscapes & Seascapes

Rose Light is a quiet, glowing sunset over the marsh, painted in a soft veil of pinks, corals, and gentle coastal blues. A slightly abstracted Lowcountry horizon sits beneath a sweeping sky, with color and light moving across the surface in layered, luminous passages. The square format gives it a modern, gallery ready presence that feels both intimate and expansive.

Each original I create is designed to hold a feeling, not just a view of the coast. In Rose Light, the focus is that tender in between moment when the sky shifts and the day exhales. Layers of transparent color, subtle texture, and softened edges invite you to linger with it the way you might pause at the water's edge and simply look.

This piece lives beautifully in both neutral and color forward interiors. It pairs effortlessly with linen, plaster, warm woods, and brass, while also holding its own alongside bolder textiles and collected art. Styled over a console, in an entry, or as part of a salon wall, Rose Light brings a calm, elevated glow into the room.

Commissions + Releases
Each original is one of a kind - no two pieces are ever the same, which is what makes collecting original art so meaningful. I do accept a limited number of commissions each season, creating new works that capture a similar energy, palette, or sense of place while remaining entirely your own.

I release a limited number of original collections throughout the year and accept a small number of commissions seasonally. Each commission begins with conversation, designed to translate your stories, surroundings, and memories into a timeless work of art. These pieces are made to reflect not just where you live, but how you live and what you love. If you would like to begin the conversation, you can reach out here.
Shipping + Delivery
Local delivery within the Charleston area is available. For customers outside Charleston, a separate shipping invoice will be provided after purchase so we can select the safest option for your location.

Each original painting is professionally packed and fully insured for shipment. If you are working with a designer, receiving warehouse, or installer, we are happy to coordinate timing and delivery details.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions about shipping, crating, or timelines.
FAQ
Is the painting framed?
This piece is created on gallery wrapped canvas with finished edges for a clean, contemporary presentation. It can be hung unframed for a modern look or paired with a floater frame for added depth.

Can I see additional photos or video?
Yes. If you would like to see detail images, room mockups, or short video of the surface, please get in touch here and I will send over more views.

Do you offer commissions in a similar style?
Each original is one of a kind - no two pieces are ever the same, which is part of what makes collecting original art so special. I do accept a limited number of commissions each season and can create a piece that captures a similar mood, color story, or sense of place while remaining entirely your own.
Provenance + Collector Notes
Each original painting is signed and recorded in my studio archive for future provenance. Rose Light is a one of a kind work inspired by Lowcountry marsh sunsets, painted to feel like an heirloom of light and memory rather than a literal scene.

This piece was created for collectors who love coastal artwork that feels elevated, soulful, and quietly joyful, with a palette that will live gracefully for years to come.
