I created this piece to capture the marsh in the late morning on a sunlit Lowcountry day. Through layered color, I wanted to build texture and atmosphere - playing with warm and cool hues to suggest the shifting relationship between sun, shade, grass, and water. The result is a relaxed coastal landscape that feels open, textured, and quietly alive.
